Please donate old bikes + parts

Bike recycling project that consists of volunteers giving their time for free to:

* teach bike maintenance skills
* teach welding skills
* recycle bikes that would otherwise go to landfill
* give bikes away for free/donation to people that need them but can't afford them othewise
* Build freak bikes

Please give any bikes in any condition. Steel frames are especially useful.

Why recycle?

The bike is a long lasting means of transport that is miles ahead of any other forms of transport in running costs, energy efficiency and speed over short trips.

Recycling a bike reduces the carbon footprint as there is little to manufacturer to recycle it.

Approximately 145 million tonnes of waste are produced each year in the United Kingdom, including approximately 200,000 bikes. This having many negative economical and environmental effects.
