Bike recycling project that consists of volunteers giving their time for free to:

* teach bike maintenance skills
* teach welding skills
* recycle bikes that would otherwise go to landfill
* give bikes away for free/donation to people that need them but can't afford them othewise
* Build freak bikes

Please give any bikes in any condition. Steel frames are especially useful.

So to celebrate the end of 2009 and all that we have achieved in our city this year we had a lovely dinner. We went to the greenhouse in Rusholme, a lovely veggie restaurant....

An interesting film has been produced as the outcome of a project between Darlington, UK, and Bremen, Germany, about researching and evaluation why teenager girls in Britain enjoy cycling when children, but stop altogether in their teens.
